Today Is Not My Day

It is cold and rainy. It is dark way too early today. My throat feels like a cheese grater ran down it. I can't go running. My Facebook is all screwed up and duplicating the home page. I didn't have all the answers for a patient today. My hot tea is now lukewarm.

Bah.

On the other hand, DH is bringing me chili from Wendy's. I was pushed out the office door allowed to leave work early since I have a fever. I have on comfortable pants and fuzzy socks. And at one time, I spent this moment with my mom...which totally made it my day.

I didn't even have to make the turkey from start to finish and I looked this petrified. I didn't want to end up with a Clark Griswold turkey.

Luckily the turkey was amazing....even if we barely made a dent.
